HPEE Third Annual Meeting
The Third Annual Meeting was held September 24-25, 2005 at the Loews Royal Pacific Resort at Universal Orlando in Orlando, Florida, USA. The meeting brought together scientists, researchers, operational personnel, and other professionals with interest and expertise in the area of psychology and human performance in complex and high-stress environments.
Papers, a panel session, and invited addresses covered a variety of topics including: cognitive performance and dehydration, response to hypoxia, psychology of aviation accident avoidance and recovery, simulation of partial gravity for extravehicular activity, and reducing human error in extreme environments.
The HPEE Officers and Board of Directors thank everyone who presented and attended the meeting and helped make it a success. In addition, we thank our student volunteers from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical Universty for all their hard work during the meeting:
